We Are Here!!

Another year of no posting. So sorry!! Our mommy has just been SO busy. One of mommy's friends who just LOVES kitties wants her to start blogging again, so maybe that will be the kick in the butt that she needs. Thank you to the two of you that have commented already and reminded us that today is our FOURTH BIRTHDAY!!! We are so excited to turn four. This is what we look like today.

This is me, Wrigley!! See, now I am a HUUUUUGE mancat. Probably over 20 pounds. I was doing very good on my diet, and the my favorite food was not carried at our pet store anymore so I had to change. Then I got fat again. I really hope they carry my favorite chicken yummy goodness sometime soon.

Here is my brofurr Cobalt. He is a skinny little mancat. He probably weighs around 12 pounds. He likes to run a lot and he doesn't eat a lot like me, so he doesn't need to go on a diet. And even though it's not her birthday we will show you Penelope too, since it has been so long since you all have seen us.

Hi Penelope!! She is in the middle of us, weight wise. She probably needs a diet too! She doesn't like to run much. Just lay in the sun. Cobalt and I try to get her to run and play but then she hisses and mommy and the lap daddy yell at us. We still do it anyways. ;-)

Last but not least. Back in April, our mommy and daddy got us a new sisfurr!!!! We are so excited and the best part is, she is black and white just like us. She really fits right in. Her name is Samantha.

Isn't she cute?! She really likes us, but she doesn't know how to pet gently yet so we try to stay away. She just likes to pull our furrs. Maybe she will learn to pet gently soon and then we can be even better friends!! Here is a picture of us together.

Thanks so much for checking in on us and wishing us a happy birthday! The lap daddy said he is going to get us a cake for tonight so that we can celebrate!!! We will try to be better at posting, and if you want to keep up with us elsewhere, we are friends with a lot of you on facebook, so you know how to find us!!

We've Moved!

Wrigley: Guess what? We moved!! We are nearly all moved into our new place and we love it. There are 3 floors for us to run around in opposed to the 3 ROOMS we had in the apartment!! There is so much space and it is so much fun. Our favorite are the hardwood floors on the main level. If you run really fast...your legs will give out and you can slide all the way across the room. It's lots of fun and every cat should try it. It is also fun running up and down the stairs. We had never seen stairs before, but we like them.

Our mommy says the lease at our old place is over tomorrow so they have been busy moving the last of our things over and cleaning at the old place so that it is ready for when they give the keys back. After tomorrow they will get to spend all of their not work time playing with us. So overall, we are very happy with our new home.

Lastly, our mommy wants to ask you all for some purrrayers. Last week we found out our grand-mommy (our mommies mommy) has cancer. So we are very scared for her and want her to get better real soon. So please send some healing purrayers and purrs her way!! Thank you.

Brothers and Birthdays

Wrigley: We are finally making progress, can you believe it? Today is the very first morning that Cobalt hasn't hissed at me at all. He was being so mean to me the last couple of days. I couldn't even come close to him without getting hissed at, and even sometimes whapped. What a mean brother I have. Cobalt seems to be his good old self this morning, and we're hoping the attitude is gone for good. Especially me, because I like having a brother to play with. [';p=[ {{Wrigley's input}}

As you can see, the past couple of days, Cobalt hides from me...and when I find him, he gives me the laser eyes.
He was no fun at all!
This is what we looked like when we were eating. When we eat dry food, we're okay but when we get stinky goodness, Cobalt would finish and have food ALL over his collar. Silly boy.
Enough with the flashy box!
Here we are, somewhat happy with each other, looking outside.
And me by myself.Yesterday the beans couldn't find me and they looked ALL over. This is where they found me. Cobalt and I looooove to play here.
Yesterday was our mommies birthday!!! We will tell you how old she turned if you promise not to tell anyone. So shhhhhh, she turned 24! Can you see she got a little bit sunburned? It was almost 85 here yesterday. We are loooooving this warm weather. We hope it doesn't go away.
And we all know what birthdays mean....CAKE!!!

nom nom nom. This stuff is delicious. We only got a very little bit of frosting because it had some chocolate in it. :-( For our birthday, they better buy vanilla!
Can you believe what those beans did to me?!

We sure love birthdays!!! We wish we had them more often so we could eat lots and lots of cake!

P.S. Did you see the beans took off our collars? We have to be very careful though because the directions from the vet said to wear them for up to 10 days. We don't want to get in trouble. But we aren't playing rough, licking our incisions, and we are being supervised. So, I think it's okay.

Playing Catsup & Our Packages

Wrigley: We have been working on playing catsup today and truthfully, it's not going so well. There are so many of you, and so many entries. We don't know how we are going to catsup. And mom still has to play catsup on her personal bloggie. Yikes!! It feels like we will be doing this for the rest of our lives. Maybe we will just start catching up on some of the entries since it is taking so long. We hope that is okay with you guys.

Secondly, we are going to post some pictures from two packages we received. Sorry the pictures aren't the best, but we weren't really cooperating.

First, we got the calendar we won from the Tuxedo Gang Hideout.
Wrigley was a little more excited to see it than Cobalt was.Oooh, I better check the package over before we open it.Looks good! "Dad, can you help me open it please?"Sure, Wrigley!Oooh, NOW Cobalt wants to investigate! Aren't all the kitties cute?
Secondly we got a package from our twins across the pond, Lyra and Caesar. We were very happy and excited to get it. Sorry the first couple of pictures came out funky, so we'll have to skip to once the box was already opened.Wow, a "Loofah Cat". We got a purple one and a yellow one. They are so cool. We love running around with them.This is all of our loot! Isn't everything wonderful? Our favorite is those multi-colored things all the way on the left. We LOVE them. We bash them around everywhere and run around with them in our mouths. They are just about the only toy we play with now. We play with them all day every day...well except for when we are sleeping or eating!It also came with 2 sample packs of Temptations. We had never tried them before and WOW, now we know what we were missing out on. Cobalt would NEVER eat treats before, and he just scarfs these down. So does Wrigley! Now we know what all the hype was about.
Cobalt LOVED the temptations and decided to go snooping for them after the beans stopped giving them to us.Good idea Cobalt, you better get into the box.Hurry up Cobalt, I'm getting hungry back here. I can't wait much longer.Geez Cobalt, you aren't doing such a good job. You better let me get in there and have a turn.Oooh it's fun playing in boxes.Even the beans nephew, Joey, got in on the action. He had SO much fun playing with the paper inside.

Boogity Boogity Boogity, Lets Go Racing Boys!!

Wrigley: Today was the Daytona 500!!! Since we were born after the 2007 Season ended, this was all very new to us. But our mommy seemed very excited about it, so we tried to be excited too.

First we all gathered around the TV and waited for the race to start. Mommy even wore her Jimmie Johnson jersey that daddy got her for Christmas!We waited...and waited...and waited. We all got kinda bored. This "Pre-Race" stuff is no quick business.
This pre-race deal was taking waaaay too long, so I decided to cuddle up with the lapdaddy for a nap.
Cobalt assumed napping in his many weird positions. We really aren't related!!! I swear!!!In this one, he had BOTH of his paws hanging in the air. How does he do that? We may never know!Finally he woke up and spent some quality time with mommy.
Mom was watching the race on tv AND on the computer. Whats up with that?!Her and the lapdaddy even hooked up the computer to the SURROUND SOUND so they could hear Jimmie Johnson's In Car Audio all over the room. It was very cool for them, I suppose.

Finally, with only a few laps to go, I figured the race was worth getting into.Daddy got me a stool so I could see a little better. Thanks Dad!
Lastly, Cobalt joined me to see the end of the race. Our heads went back and forth watching the cars!Ryan Newman is the winner?! Yeah, we can't believe it either. We were hoping Jimmie Johnson would win. But sadly he got in a crash. We hope he's okay!
And that is the end of our first experience of NASCAR!! Boy was it fun...we sure can't wait until next Sunday!

Still Taking Those Medicines

Wrigley: Sorry we haven't posted much lately. The beans are still fascinated with those new cell phone things they got and not spending much time on the computer. Cobalt and I are doing well, we still have to have those pills shoved down our throat every night, but mom says we're almost finished with them. In reality, we're not even half way done, I think she just says it to make us feel better. It works, because we don't give her too much trouble when she gives us our medicines.

We're doing much better at not crying at the beans door at night and in the morning. Our lapdaddy is sick so we don't go in there much at night since he needs his get better rest. We hope he gets better real soon because we want to learn how to sleep with our beans. (We really just want to play catch the bed mice, but don't let the beans know that!!) In the morning after dad goes to work, we go back to sleep and wait for mom to wake up to feed us. Before we would just cry a lot so she had to get up.

All in all, things are going well here. We just eat, sleep, and go the bathroom. I guess thats the life of being a kitten. Oh, my mombean says we should purrrray real hard for the families of those 5 women murdered in Chicago. The store is only 10 minutes away from where she grew up and her mom and dad still live in that area. It is very scary. Even one of the people killed worked at the high school our mombean went to. So please purrrray for them and that they catch the person who did it real soon.

And so we don't go pictureless, here is a picture to show you that despite all our fighting, we still love each other very much!

1.) The beans found some of Zeus' toys today and gave them to us to play with. There were 3 balls and they all make noise. We love to play soccer with them. Mom says we're practically pros.

2.) The beans got new cell phones on Wednesday and they are fascinated with them. They play with them a lot which leaves less time to play with us. At least we have each other...and we hope the novelty wears off very soon.

3.) Our dadbean has a toy called "Tickle Me Elmo: TMX". We think it's very funny and we love to watch it. Although sometimes it scares us quite a bit.

We're Going to Be Some Handsome Mancats!!

Wrigley: Sorry we haven't been so good at posting pictures of ourselves lately. We will try to do better in the future. Mom even said tomorrow we could post movies!!! Anyways, here are some pictures of Cobalt and me.

This is Cobalt and I the day we came to our Furrever home. We like to sit on the dining room chairs sometimes to cuddle up and take a nap.
Cobalt got sick of the bean taking so many pictures, so he stuck his tongue out at her.

I love sleeping!!!! When I sleep, I like to stretch out a lot.
Mom pushed my paws up and it was quite comfy, so I laid like this for a while.
I look cute when I'm looking up to the sky for toys!
And even when I'm looking *kinda* straight at the camera.
Then, the mombean made me pose for a picture with her. I think we look good together. What do you think of her long furrs? She said she is going to have to cut them one day because Cobalt and I like to climb it. I guess it hurts her?
When Cobalt and I aren't playing together, I like to watch TV.

This is Cobalt. He doesn't pose for pictures much, so mombean was really excited to get these.
Mom said he gots good eyes in this one. She also likes the little white spots on his gums, she said something like it makes him look like he gots buck teeth.
This is the first time Cobalt got to try nip that wasn't in a toy. Boy did he go crazy. He was rolling around in it and everything. Then it made him fall asleep, he didn't even put his head on the ground, he was resting it on his leg. He looked very cute.
And these are Cobalt's paws. Aren't they cute?

Sometimes, Cobalt and I will even pose for pictures together. Here is where we usually sleep, on top of our jungle gym.
Mom thought it was super cute when we peeked our heads over the edge.
We hid behind mombean's computer when dadbean brought out the big sucky monster.
When we aren't behind the computer, we're on it...either blogging ourselves or reading our friends' blogs.
And sometimes, we just like to chill by the beans bed.
Oh and this is a comparison of our eyes. Mom thinks we have slightly different colors. Mine are on top and Cobalt's are on the bottom.

We really lead an exciting life, don't cha think? And mom bean says we have to make some announcements. We've had lots of visitors and she's tried to get them all added to our blogroll.
