Today, something very sad happened, and now mom is down in the dumps. Tonight this is what we saw:
Can you believe it? Our dad left us. Mom keeps telling us that he had to go to some place called work. But who works during the night? We're supposed to be sleeping!! It will certainly be lonely without him. Maybe mom will even let us sleep in their room. But sometimes, even though mom and dad look like they are sleeping, we think they want to play. So we just jump around, but that usually doesn't make them happy and they make us sleep in a guest room. At least we get to be together!
Well, mom says we have to go to bed now because it's getting late and she has to go to work in the morning. She says we got tagged on something called a Meme and she will help us do it tomorrow. Also, we have commented back to many of you who have welcomed us, but haven't had the chance to get to everyone just yet. We will continue commenting and adding to our list tomorrow!

Well, I hope your dad will be back soon from his night job, but in the meantime keep posting! You should have so much to tell us about yourselves. What was your life like before your humans adopted you?

We still think dat it's bad dat yoor daddy left yoo, even if it was just to go to work. Our mommy and daddy both stay home wif us (dey is old) and we whine even if dey go shopping!
Work is horrible, isn't it? That is where my mommy says she is going all the time, and then she doesn't get back home to feed me temptations or snuggle until it is LATE!!!!!

We think you're right - snuggle with mommy at night if daddy's giving up his spot! Enjoy the extra cuddle time - and the "undercover monster" game (that's where you put the bitey on anything that moves under the covers - not very popular with the beans, but great fun!)
That's terrible of your daddy! But at least you got mommy to comfort you (and can even distract her from being sad by causing trouble like us - hehehe!!).
Our mommy and daddy are terrible too, coz they go to work. We think this is abandonment. My big sis Casey makes sure to show her displeasure by dragging daddy's dirty socks all over da house....
